Procedures of departure of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan 
 
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, have the free right to travel abroad for private, public affairs, for permanent residence, as tourists, to study, to work, to treatment, to travel.
The present procedure is applied to visit of the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to foreign countries, with the exception of countries - members of the CIS, which does not require registration check travel documents.
Passport of the citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, needed to travel abroad, issued by the internal affairs in accordance with the Regulations on the passport system in Uzbekistan.
 
Procedures on entry to Uzbekistan and exit from Uzbekistan for foreign citizens and stateless persons
 
In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens, including citizens of states - participants of CIS countries and stateless persons * may enter the Republic of Uzbekistan and leave it to private and official business, as a tourist, leisure, school, work, and treatment for permanent residence .
* Hereinafter referred to as "foreign citizens."
Visa to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan (entry-exit, transit) are issued to foreign citizens by:
• consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad, and in the absence of such organizations - by consular authorities of other countries, with whom it has bilateral agreements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• Consular Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan at airports that have a intercommunication with foreign countries.
Consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad are: consular sections of embassies, consulates general, consulates, vice-consulates and consular agencies.
Visa to enter the Republic of Uzbekistan are issued to foreign nationals for a period of up to one year or for the period of their accreditation.
